Events
Our annual St. Paddy’s Golf Tournament and Auction events raise funds for Fripp Island Sea Rescue (FISR). FISR receives no annual funding from outside sources. Net proceeds from these events, along with personal donations are our primary source of operating funds. Collectively, our 100% volunteer organization average over 125 missions per year.
The Online Auction features items & experiences donated by local businesses including fishing/golfing/water adventure experiences, photography, home/garden, health & beauty, getaway stays, jewelry, food/spirits and more.
Golf Tournament Sponsorship
Fripp Island Sea Rescue (FISR) continues to build on the success of its annual golf tournament, now entering a refreshed phase emphasizing “911 On The Water” and our essential volunteer role. The tournament, held each March, is supported by up to 128 golfers, the Fripp Island Resort, and a growing number of small business sponsors.
FISR’s new Marketing & PR Coordinator will ensure these sponsors are recognized year-round through digital presence and community visibility efforts.
You can sponsor, donate or bid and help us continue to server the recreational and commercial boating community in water related emergencies.
Annual Auction
Beginning in 2026, FISR will decouple the annual auction from the golf tournament. This decision was made to improve workload balance among volunteers and increase fundraising focus for critical needs like R1 vessel replacement, updated electronics, and training systems.
Item donations (e.g., art, trips, services, local business offers) are encouraged. Sponsors will be recognized on our website and throughout the auction campaign, which includes pre-event promotion and post-event acknowledgment.
